Key Environmental Parameters
Temperature Control:For standard solid nitrile rubber, warehouse temperatures should not exceed 25°C; for hydrogenated nitrile rubber, the recommended limit is 30°C. Liquid nitrile rubber should be kept between 5°C and 30°C, while hydroxyl-terminated liquid nitrile rubber allows for a range of -20°C to 38°C. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 40°C accelerates molecular chain scission and aging.
Humidity Control: Relative humidity must remain below 70% (below 65% for standard nitrile rubber products) to prevent material hydrolysis and mold growth caused by excessive moisture.
Light Protection: Store away from light at all times; direct UV exposure is strictly prohibited to prevent surface cracking. Use black UV-resistant packaging or store in a dark room.
Ventilation Requirements:The storage area must be well-ventilated, clean, and dry. Outdoor storage is strictly prohibited; protect against rain and immersion in standing water.

Segregation and Incompatibility Requirements
Chemical Segregation: Keep away from high-temperature heat sources, open flames, and strong oxidizing agents. Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Do not store alongside flammable, volatile, or corrosive materials.
Physical Protection: Do not place sharp objects in the storage area to avoid mechanical scratches. Keep away from metal components during stacking; use separator paper if necessary to prevent metal-catalyzed oxidation.
Packaging and Stacking Specifications
Sealed Packaging: Unopened original packaging can be stored directly. Once opened, reseal with moisture-proof film; some special grades may be vacuum-packed or nitrogen-purged to delay oxidation. Liquid nitrile rubber must remain sealed at all times to prevent moisture absorption and contamination by impurities.
Stacking Requirements:Stack solid rubber blocks flat to a height not exceeding 1.2 meters to avoid deformation from heavy pressure. Store rubber products and seals flat or suspended on racks; do not stack heavy objects on top of the products for extended periods.
