FAQ

Q: Advantages of ED seals over ordinary O-rings?

A: Significantly higher pressure resistance, can withstand over 30 MPa, while ordinary O-rings need backup rings above 10 MPa.

Q: What are the main application scenarios?

A: Mostly used for high-pressure sealing of hydraulic joints, oil pipe joints and thread end faces.

Q: What material is the backup ring in ED seals?

A: Backup rings are usually PTFE or polyamide (PA), with good chemical resistance and low friction, paired with O-rings.
